ExplorerHub launches at Didacta Italia 2026: the European competence frameworks portal
ExplorerHub arrives at Didacta Italia
From March 11 to 13, 2026, at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence (Spadolini Attico Pavilion, Stand W30), IDCERT officially presents ExplorerHub: the free, multilingual portal that collects, organises and makes navigable the main European and international competence frameworks.
The occasion is Didacta Italia, the most important national event dedicated to innovation in education and training, a meeting point for teachers, trainers, school leaders and education professionals.
What ExplorerHub offers
ExplorerHub was born with a clear mission: to make competence frameworks published by European and international institutions accessible to everyone. The portal allows you to:
- Browse interactively over 18 frameworks, including DigComp, DigCompEdu, EntreComp, GreenComp and many more
- Compare frameworks to identify overlaps, differences and complementarities
- Explore a specialised glossary with over 200 technical terms linked to their source frameworks
- Navigate an interactive timeline showing the history and evolution of frameworks
Access is completely free, without registration, and open to everyone: teachers, students, trainers, professionals, researchers and policy makers.
The news: ExplorerHub now speaks French
On the occasion of Didacta 2026, ExplorerHub adds full French language support, joining the already available languages: Italian, English and Spanish.
The addition of French represents an important step in the portal's European vocation. With over 300 million speakers worldwide and a central role in European institutions, French allows reaching an even wider audience, particularly:
- The Francophone academic world in Europe, Africa and Canada
- European institutions where French is an official working language
- Training professionals in French-speaking countries
All portal content — from framework descriptions to informational pages, from the glossary to the blog — is now available in French.
IDCERT at Didacta 2026
IDCERT, a Personnel Certification Body accredited by Accredia (no. 02257) under UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17024, is present at Didacta with its dedicated stand, together with eCampus.
At Stand W30, visitors can:
- Discover ExplorerHub and browse frameworks in real time
- Learn about IDCERT certifications DigComp and DigCompEdu, essential for GPS 2026-2028
- Explore the IDCERT Competence Centre programme for schools, universities, training providers and public administration
